Annual Fund Donation
Donations received from Agricultural Education supporters are invested for FFA leadership, chapter and individual incentive awards, career development events and to support the growth and operation of the Florida FFA Leadership Training Center.
Recurring Monthly Donation
Monthly giving is the easiest and most convenient way to donate to the Florida FFA Foundation. You choose to contribute at any amount, and we will automatically charge your credit or debit card. You can change or cancel your pledge at any time. Supporting Florida FFA’s Monthly Giving Program is not only easy for you but great for us as well. It allows us to plan ahead knowing there is ongoing support for our programs.
Make your Recurring Monthly Gift to FFA by clicking here. Please make sure to choose a recurring donation option in the "donation frequency" section. These contributions will be used to support Florida FFA’s Greatest Need. Make sure to ask your employer if they would be willing to match your monthly gift!
Other Ways to Give
Establish an FFA endowment with a minimum contribution of $15,000. You can name the endowment and designate how the money should be used. The Florida FFA Foundation will use the annual interest earned on your contribution.
Estate Planning and Bequests
Contribute to the Florida FFA Foundation by including FFA in your will or estate plan. You may fund such a gift with cash, marketable securities, real estate, a trust, life insurance, annuities, tangible property or closely held stock.
A gift of appreciated stock eliminates any capital gains tax and allow you to claim an income-tax deduction based on the full market value of long term securities regardless of their original cost.
Donate a house, vacation home, farm, ranch, or any other dwelling, commercial property, or undeveloped land you no longer wish to own.
Forever Blue Gifts & Gift Planning
Making a major or planned gift to the Florida FFA Foundation is a way to make a difference in the lives of young people for generations to come. These gifts are all unique and customized to suit a donor’s needs and wishes. If you’re considering making a major or planned gift to Florida FFA, we would love to discuss your options.
Are you interested in helping the Florida FFA Foundation, but feel overwhelmed by the thought of writing another check or giving up your assets today? A bequest is a simple and convenient way to ensure we continue our mission for years to come.
You can make a bequest for a specific dollar amount or for a percentage of your estate. You can designate your bequest for general use, or you can restrict its use. Many individuals establish endowments that honor the memory of a family member or another loved one. These endowments live forever since only the income is used annually. Because a will is an important legal document, you should seek an attorney's help. For questions or more specific language please call Scarlett Jackson at (863) 528-4866, or send her an e-mail to Scarlett.Jackson@flaffa.org.
To assist you with this important process, we offer some suggested bequest wording for you to share with your advisors:
“I [name] give, devise, and bequeath to the Florida FFA Foundation, a nonprofit organization located in Haines City, Florida, (sum of/percentage of/residue of my estate) as an unrestricted gift to be used at the discretion of the board of directors of the Florida FFA Foundation for the general purposes of the Florida FFA Foundation, located in Haines City, Florida.”
Florida FFA Leadership Training Center Improvements
The Leadership Training Center is located on the shores of beautiful Lake Pierce in Haines City surrounded by untouched forest and is just a short drive from Orlando and Tampa. The LTC is miles away from the traffic congestion, cramped hotels and tourist attractions which often disrupt meetings and distract participants. This unique facility offers accommodations for 160 guests in rooms overlooking the lake in the Ben Hill Griffin Lodge or more privately in any or all of six Villas. The new Educational Center has meeting space for small groups or large groups up to 350 people. Our chef is always on hand to provide burgers and fries for the kids or fabulous gourmet meals for weddings, parties, meetings, and receptions.
The main purpose of the center is to build the leadership development of our over 70,000 students enrolled in agriculture education in Florida. We are always looking for individuals, companies and organizations who are willing to support our improvement projects at the center. For more information on these projects, please contact Scarlett Jackson at Scarlett.Jackson@flaffa.org.
