On-site Activities
The Lodge offers a variety of on-site activities. There is always something for everyone. Guests can: swim in the pool, canoe / kayak, hike the trails enjoy a variety of outdoor games like softball, basketball, volleyball, cornhole and horseshoes.
The Lodge was gorgeous, with beautiful lake views and a relaxing atmosphere. The moss hanging down from all the trees and wildlife in the area made this scenery particularly special. We enjoyed some basketball, fresh air looking out over the lake, and the comfort and cleanliness of the room. It's a good drive to food and shopping, you are truly disconnected from the stress and bustle! He accommodated our late check in and informed us of activities, trails, and even local wildlife. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway!
The lodge is in on a lake with wonderful views, especially at sunset. My room was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lodge is surrounded by nature; I saw deer and sandhill cranes along the road to the lodge. I would definitely stay at the lodge again.
This is a hidden gem among all the Florida wildlife. Canoes are right outside of the main lodge; people are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the place is really nicely decorated to match its rural setting. I will visit here again for a longer stay. I happen to stumble on it when searching for hotels for a work trip.
Jonathan’s place offers a true old Florida experience!The lodge is located in the heart of Florida which is also the heart of Florida agriculture. We were fascinated by the remote location on a lake in the middle of Florida. The lodge and it’s large property on a lake are reminiscent of a North woods Wisconsin lodge. Jonathan was so easy to communicate with. He promptly answered all my queries.
