GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida FFA Association is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2020 Honorary State FFA Degree.  The Honorary State FFA Degree is the highest honorary award presented by the organization. The purpose of this degree is to recognize those individuals who greatly contribute to the advancement of agricultural education and provide outstanding service to the FFA program. Florida FFA is strong today because of our strong supporters like each of these individuals and their efforts on our behalf are greatly appreciated.

These recipients will be recognized virtually during the 4th session of the 2020 Florida FFA Celebration.  Please join us as we thank these individuals for all they do for agricultural education and FFA.

The 2020 Honorary State FFA Degree recipients are:

Dr. Mike Armbruster (Orange County Public Schools, Associate Superintendent)

Ms. Bonnie Desmond (FNGLA, Pinellas Chapter)

Mr. Brent Sellers (UF – Agronomy, Professor & Director Range Cattle Research Center)

Mr. Joe Walter (UF/IFAS Extenstion Agent)

Mr. Kyle Yerdon (FDACS, Ag & Consumer Protection Specialist)
