Gray Middle School FFA Wins 2012 Horse Evaluation CDE

MARIANNA, Fla. – Florida FFA is pleased to announce the results of the Middle School Horse Evaluation (CDE).  The event was held Saturday, January 21st at Jackson County Agricultural Center in Marianna, Fla. Twenty teams from throughout Florida gathered to compete for the top spot. The purpose of the Horse Evaluation is to stimulate the study of, and interest in, equine science selection while providing recognition for those who have demonstrated skill and competency in this area.

Florida FFA is very appreciative of the support of our event coordinators Dr. Saundra TenBroeck and Wendy DeVito from the University of Florida and Kim Barber and Shawna Ferguson from Jackson County.  Florida FFA would also like to express appreciation to the Chipola FFA Federation for providing lunch to each participant.

As a matter of procedure, event results are considered unofficial for (2) business days following publishing. It is the responsibility of the FFA Advisor to request and review individual team results. Any appeal must be made to the FFA Executive Secretary in writing for necessary adjustments to be made.  At the close of business on the second business day following publishing, results will be official.  To request your individual results, please email
