Final arrangements are being made in preparation for the 2014 State FFA Environmental Science & Natural Resources Career Development Event (CDE) to be held January 21, 2014 at the UF/IFAS Mid-Florida Research & Education Center in Apopka. This email shall serve as delivery of the Team Activity Scenario to each qualified team one week in advance of the event.
Team Activity: Pollution Limits Regarding Florida¹s Waters

Note: The information pertaining to the team activity (written & oral) is attached to this email. Teams should prepare this information prior to arrival. Time will not be given to prepare for this activity onsite.
Students will be given eight (5-8) minutes to present the oral presentation followed by up to two (2) minutes for questions.
The three-page written document will be turned in prior to the oral presentation.
Visual aids are acceptable (excluding video). Examples of acceptable visual aids include PowerPoint, posters, photos, handouts, brochures, etc. A computer and projector will be provided. Those choosing to use PowerPoint should bring their presentation loaded on a portable drive.
Written document – please note that the written document should be completed prior to the contest and will be turned in prior to the start of the contest. Please note that the document should not be more than 3 pages in length. There is no minimum length requirement. The style of the document is up to your team. The scenario does not specify whether it should be MLA or APA.
