Advisors – Florida FFA is please to announce the results of the 2016 Food Science CDE Preliminary. The top 20 high school teams and top 10 middle school teams will advance to the state finals, which will be held in January at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
More detailed information regarding the state finals event will be made available in the coming weeks, including event details. Please refer to the event rules lists in the Florida FFA CDE Handbook available on FLAFFA.org.
As a matter of procedure, event results are considered unofficial for (2) business days following publishing. It is the responsibility of the FFA Advisor to request and review individual team results. Any appeal must be made to the FFA Executive Secretary in writing for necessary adjustments to be made. At the close of business on the second business day following publishing, results will be official.

In the event that your team is unable to compete in the state finals please notify the Florida FFA Office, in writing, at least 2 weeks prior to the event. In this situation the next qualifying team will be invited to participate.
