GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida FFA is pleased to announce the selection of the 2013 Fresh from Florida Advocacy Award finalists. Formerly the Food for America program, this program is designed to encourage FFA members to participate in agricultural literacy and awareness projects on the local level. The overall chapter winner will be awarded on stage during the 6th General Session of the 85th Florida FFA State Convention on Thursday, June 13th, 2013 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando. One member and one advisor from each finalist chapter should report to the holding room thirty minutes prior to the session in which they are to be recognized.
