GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA – The 2011-2012 State Officer team was recently elected during the 83rd Annual Florida FFA State Convention held June 13-17, 2011 in Orlando, Florida. These eight individuals were elected bytheir peers serving as official delegates at the convention.
The primary responsibility of a state officer is to serve the Florida FFA Association, Agricultural Education and Agriculture as an ambassador in local, state and national activities in a way that will inform, motivate and inspire FFA members, advisors and others to embrace and uphold the FFA mission.
Following the convention, the team of State Officers embarked on a year long journey of service to FFA, Agriculture and Agriscience Education. Their year of service began with several weeks of intense training earlier this summer.
