Orlando, Fla. – Adrian Dyer of the Elton Hinton FFA Chapter won the Creed Speaking Career Development Event. Dyer was recognized at the 84th Annual State FFA Convention.

Participants provide an oral presentation and answer questions directly related to the FFA Creed. FFA members have four minutes to present the FFA Creed from the current FFA Manual. E.M. Tiffany wrote the creed.

The top five finalists in the state received trophies from the state sponsor, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Other finalists in the top five include:

5th place: William Jameson, South Sumter Jr.

4th place: Heather Yoder, Blountstown

3rd place: Sarah Bartholemy, Cedar Key

2nd place: Brendon Register, Taylor Jr.

Dyer also received a travel scholarship from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College to help defray the cost of traveling to compete for the national title at the National FFA Convention in October.
