Florida FFA Foundation Summer Leadership Conference – Registration Now Open

Now Available: 2017 Summer Leadership Conference (SLC) Registration 

 

Advisors – registration for the 2017 Summer Leadership Conference is now available online.  The conference will be held August 7-10 at the Florida FFA Leadership Training Center.

CHECK-IN for the conference will begin at 4:00pm on August 7th.

Registration Fees
No refunds for cancellations will be granted after June 15, 2017. All payments are due on June 15th as well. (Payments should be made to the Florida FFA Foundation)

  • Students – $220
  • Advisors (Double) – $185
  • Advisors (Single) – $225
  • Advisors who bring 5 or more students will receive free registration.

Online Registration Form

All students AND advisors should register online.  The required Florida FFA Permission Form and liability Waivers are attached to this email.

Advisor Attendance Policy
Please remember that the advisor attendance policy is in effect and all students must be accompanied by a school board representative or advisor. In the event that the designated representative is not the FFA advisor, please bring a letter of designation from the school principal or superintendent.  If your designated school district representative is another FFA advisor from your county, it is imperative that all parties are aware before arriving.
 
Additional Conference Information (Schedule, Scholarships, etc.)
Additional information will be made available to those registered for the event.  Please do not mail permission forms to Florida FFA. Bring all of the required forms completed to the conference. Conference scholarships are available. The scholarship application is attached and are due to the Florida FFA Foundation by June 1, 2017.

Florida FFA Hall of Fame – Nomination Deadline May 15th

Good Afternoon,

I wanted to remind each of you that the Florida FFA Hall of Fame nomination form is now available. The Florida FFA Hall of Fame honors individuals who have rendered outstanding service to Agriscience Education and FFA in Florida. Nominations may be prepared and submitted by any individual using the checklist provided below. All nominations must be complete, compiled in booklet format and typed to be considered. Nominations not selected in the first year will be carried over for a period of three years. 

Attached is this years nomination packet information. Feel free to share with those who may be interested.  

Please submit the nomination packet no later than May 15th to Michael Rogalsky, Executive Director, Florida FFA Foundation, 5600 SW 34th Street Gainesville, FL 32608. Please contact Michael Rogalsky at Michael.Rogalsky@flaffa.org or 352.505. 5597 with any questions regarding the process.
